Three Peaks Elementary

Three Peaks Elementary had the opportunity to participate in a special event celebrating the importance of reading and the future 2034 Utah Olympics. Our principal, Ike Spencer, spoke to the kids about the importance of setting goals, working hard, and making the most of every opportunity. We were also excited to welcome two special guest speakers, Amy Garff, Chairperson of Ken Garff Education, and Julie Letai, an Olympian. They shared their experiences and talked about perseverance and achieving goals. The kids learned that accomplishing great things takes hard work, that everyone falls down sometimes, and that what matters is getting back up and trying again. They also learned how important it is to come to school every day, work hard, and keep reading!
